Looking for a Sunday Small Group?

Come and join us! The “Connections” Sunday Small Group meets from 11:00am to noon immediately after the worship service in the Friendship Room in the Boyd Building. We come  together to connect with God and friends, to learn and to share fellowship. Part of our focus is to discuss and to discover how we can take God's word and apply it to our loives and put it into action during the week.

"Daughters of Destiny" will meet for table talk once every quarter starting November. This will be a women's ministry dedicated to inter-generational conversations for wellness, innovation, and empowerment.

Eileen's Workshop:
Sewing  & Crafts Ministry

"EILEEN’S WORKSHOP" meets every first and third Tuesday of the month at 10:00am in the multi-media area on the first floor of the Boyd Building to create pillows, soft toys, chart  bags, and much more for the comfort of patients at Shands, Summer Brook Health Care Center, Methodist Children’s Village, and many more places.

 

Everybody is welcome to join this crafty ministry at First UMC!

ACTS
"Actively Caring Through Sharing"
Ministry Group

The ACTS (Actively Caring Through Sharing) Circle is made up of women at First Church who wants to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the community.  They meet once a month for lunch and a business meeting to plan and carry out their projects. The projects include supporting D.E.S.C., the Methodist Children's' Village, hungry children at a local elementary school, gathering clothing for local children, and many more.
